AH! Yvans Jordain, aka Councilman Howser, is here as our newest Park Pal! What a spiritual, kind, easy conversation!
We jump right in with talking about how sometimes you need to take a break from acting (or just in general), and how everything works out the way it's supposed to (even though it's HARD to remember that). He's currently in a Paxlovid commercial and you better believe it was the first thing I brought up. We discuss how his friend helped him come back after his break from acting (amazing!!), how he wasn't even going to audition for Parks (can you imagine?!), and how his coworkers at his psychology job informed him that he was a meme. 😂 Oh, and then I dive DEEP on all the scenes he was in and the transformation of Howser from that first episode to the last! PS - wouldn't Retta and him have made a cute couple?!
I also loved talking about the acting journey, the self-doubt that no one sees on screen and the joy of working with a great production can bring.
